Blacklisting a Venue from the Discover Feed

This article explains how to blacklist a venue from your Discovery Feed to prevent events at that location from appearing in your event listings.

The blacklist in Seeker allows you to filter out events that don't meet your standards or relevance criteria. When a venue is blacklisted, all current and future events held at that location are hidden from your Discovery Feed.

This helps maintain a more curated, brand-aligned experience—especially useful if a venue frequently hosts low-quality, off-topic, or duplicate events.

You might want to blacklist a venue if:

  • It consistently hosts irrelevant or spammy events

  • The location does not align with your audience or event type

  • You want to avoid seeing listings from that venue in the future

How To Blacklist an Event Venue from the Discovery Feed

1. Click "Events" from your Seeker dashboard

2. Click "Discover"

3. Locate an event at the venue that you wish to black and click ...

4. Click "Blacklist"

5. Under "Venue," click "Blacklist"

6. Click "Blacklist" to confirm
