Rejecting a Submitted Event
This article explains how to reject a community-submitted event from the Pending Events queue when it doesn’t meet your criteria or standards.
Available in the following products and plans:
Seeker Events Network: All Plans
With the Seeker Events Network, community members and partners can submit events directly to your platform.
These events first appear in the Pending Events queue, where admins can choose to approve, edit, or reject them based on relevance, accuracy, or alignment with your goals.
You may want to reject a submitted event if:
-
It doesn’t meet your quality or content guidelines
-
It’s irrelevant to your audience or off-brand
-
It contains spammy or incomplete information
Rejecting an event removes it from the pending list and notifies the submitter (if configured), helping you maintain a curated and trustworthy event calendar.
This article shows you how to reject a submitted event from the Seeker dashboard.
